Our team go through a robust training program before commencing employment with us.
As part of our induction programme, all our staff receive training in the following areas:
Refresher training is provided at least yearly to ensure all staff continue to provide safe care and feel competent to support our clients.
Additional training is provided to the relevant persons in the following areas:
Care Planning and Recording; Challenging Behaviour; Dementia; Dignity Challenge; End of life care; Supervision and appraisal skills; Risk assessment training (General); Risk assessment training (Moving and handling); Care Management of Diabetes; Cultural Diversity training. 4Ever Care believes that to become the best home care services provider in Blackburn, we have to ensure our carers receive comprehensive training to provide the highest quality care tailored to individual needs.
All staff will complete the care certificate which is a set of 15 standards that sets out the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected
in Health and Social Care.
Training will be completed via online modules or face-to-face training – whichever method is more effective for the content being taught.
